According to the author, comparative studies based on exclusive knowledge are inadequate, and dialogues based on the religion, culture and civilization of each dialoguer are insufficient to achieve a level of mutual understanding and respect. Prospective leaders should equip themselves with knowledge about the cultural heritage of mankind (an academic task that should be discussed). This is a mandatory course at universities, whatever the major, and whatever religion the students adhere to.
