Interactive computer graphics : A top-down approach using open GL fifth edition
This book is introduction to computer graphics, with an emphasis on application programming. In the first edition, which was published in 1997, I noted thatrnin the seven years since my previous graphics text, the field had experienced enormousrngrowth-a rate of growth that exceeded most people's expectations, includingrnmy own. In the 11 years (and four editions) since, we have seen even more changes.rnFeature-length computer-animated movies have proved to be commercial and artisticrnsuccesses. The use of computer effects in movies is standard, and it is often almostrnimpossible to distinguish live action from computer-generated effects. Recent hardwarernhas blurred the distinction between computers and game boxes. Programmablerngraphics processors provide a level of flexibility in commodity systems that was notrnavailable in even the most expensive workstations just a few years ago.
